I must say, I have immensely enjoyed my hiatus from blogging, though I'd imagine my mother (and a few others) didn't enjoy it as much as I did. :D
It's been quite a while since I updated everyone on our house, and let me tell you...A LOT has changed. Let me show you!
All the framing in D-O-N-E thanks to Dan and Joel and Zach and a few others. AND, the plumbing and electrical and gas are all done thanks to some amazing and special volunteers! Woo hoo!!
Here's the bathtub installed and ready in Beni and Soraya's bathroom.
The future laundry/sewing room all ready to go!
Both porches are now framed and ready for the roofing...and we already have porch lights!
This is the current view in the back yard: shelter for future grill, check...shade structure for future sandbox/play area/seedling area, check...thriving trees and flowers, check. :D
We have been so blessed by the outpouring of willing workers; thanks to all their hard work we will hopefully be IN the house by Thanksgiving!!!!
The next "break" from blogging shouldn't be such a long time. Be back soon (I hope)!
