One Month

I can hardly believe my sweet baby girl is already one month old! Time flies and she is already growing up waaaay too fast for this mama's liking. :(


Soraya's accomplishments this month:
- being awake up to 6 hours during the day
- sleeping a 6 hour and then a 4 hour stretch at night (giving her mama some much needed rest)
- rolling over once (from front to back...maybe just a coincidence?...maybe just luck?)
- smiling lots and lots when Mama and Daddy talk to her
- charming everyone who sees her with her pure sweetness
- slowly but surely growing out of all her NB size clothes (if her current growth is any indication...we are going to have one TALL, THIN little lady...with big feet ;)
- growing in personality every day
- contracting and surviving her first illness (low grade fever, nasal congestion and a slight cough)
- getting better and better at holding/supporting her own head


Mama Leman's accomplishments this month:
- learning to lean every day on the strength of my Savior King
- learning to do anything and everything one-handed (including but not limited to: cooking, cleaning, feeding Beni, changing Beni, putting Beni to bed, bathing Beni, etc, etc)
- learning to do with slightly less sleep
- losing all my "baby" weight
- fitting into "normal" clothes
- learning to be more flexible because you never can tell how the day will go

I have treasured every nanosecond of this past month; I truly am sad that she's growing up so fast. And I know everyone says, "Treasure them; they grow up so fast!" They really aren't kidding; time positively F-L-I-E-S!!!!
