Another House Update

So, I'm hoping to make a few quick updates to let y'all know what's been going on in our part of the world. First of all, a lot has been changing with the house...praise God! The most recent time line looks like: June/July work teams to put on the roof and install windows, a "specialized" team in August to do framing and electrical, hired workers from town to install drywall and tile early fall, possibly hire a painter...and hopefully the house will be ready for us to move in by Thanksgiving or Christmas (at the latest). Please pray that this can remain as the time line; I can hardly bear waiting any longer! ;)

So this is old news: we've had water and electricity at the house for a while...behold the water!

And we now have nicely framed windows and doors. Here's the front of the house...

This is the back yard. Joel has continued working on refining the landscaping and recently planted some rose bushes and bougainvillea under the olive trees. Just lovely!

The most recent progress has been made with the trusses. However, this picture is a little outdated as Julian has finished all the floor pieces and over half of the roof support beams (God bless him!).
